Certification sign-ups tracked across every partner.

The client

One of the largest education and learning companies in the United States, known for textbooks, digital courseware and a student subscription. Its workforce training arm sells online career courses and certifications through a large network of partner colleges and universities, each with its own branded storefront.

The challenge

The company sold learning products and certifications through many partner institutions. It could not see how people moved through the ecommerce funnel across those partners.

Nobody knew which partners and paths drove enrolments, or where buyers dropped out. Changes to the funnel were made on opinion, with no systematic way to test them.

What we did
GA4 implementationFunnel trackingDashboardsCRO

GA4 across partner institutions

We implemented GA4 tracking across all partner institutions and mapped the certification sign-up flows on each. A shared tracking plan covers course views, cart, checkout and enrolment.

Consistent funnel instrumentation

We instrumented each funnel stage the same way for every partner, with partner and course details carried on each event. That makes the data comparable across institutions.

Enrolment reporting

We built dashboards showing where enrolments come from and where people drop off, by partner and by path. The team can spot weak partners and broken steps quickly.

CRO programme

We set up a CRO experimentation programme with a clear method. Each test starts from the funnel data, has a hypothesis and a success metric, and ends with a written result.

What changed
  • The team has full-funnel visibility across every partner institution.
  • Funnel changes now go through a structured experimentation programme.
  • Conversion improvements are driven by data.
  • Enrolment sources and drop-off points are clear by partner.
